As the Executive director for EOH, Peggy works alongside foster and adoptive families to help support them on their journey.

She has been a foster parent for 27 years and has adopted 4 girls herself. She understands the struggles, so she started Expressions of Hope 14 years ago to provide resources and to support those who have chosen to foster and adopt as it can be a hard, messy, yet extremely rewarding journey.

By working with her, Peggy hopes families will feel like they are being supported by someone who understands what they are going through. She wants them to feel valued, heard, and feel a sense of hope.

When asked about what she hopes families can take away from the experience, Peggy stated, “I want every child who enters foster care to feel loved and valued, and for every family that cares for them to feel supported and understood. I want them to experience hope on the dark days, and joy in the experience.”
